You can expect to learn some of life’s lessons from the Bible stories of Noah
and his helpful family, Abraham & Sarah, Deborah, David, and others.
Grandparents will work with grandchildren, couples with in-laws, and aunts and
uncles with nieces and nephews to solve challenge courses, to work together in
new and different ways.
Seeing how faith was passed from generation to generation in the past will give
us the clues to how we can pass our faith on to those who come after us.

Family Camp is designed to integrate
learning and faith building exercises across
multiple generations. The great heroes of faith
are often the product of multiple generations of
faithful followers of God.
As Hannah prayed for and supported Samuel,
and Lois and Eunice instilled faith in Timothy,
we desire to emphasize the life lessons and
Biblical examples of faith producing attitudes
and actions.

Counselors and Co-Counselors
As a new session of camp, you can expect to meet new people who have not all
traditionally been involved in other sessions of Silver Maple Camp.
Consequently the staff is as new as this session of camp is.
What I can tell you is that the worship leader for the evening sessions is the
most talented and blessed that God has placed in my life. The teachers are all
people who have touched my life at some point in the past and have helped to
strengthen and encourage my faith. I trust their faith and leadership skills and
believe your life will be renewed in faith and hope after having learned from
them.
